Reem Algshat

An experienced financial and corporate communicator, Reem leads investor communication, advising clients on internal communication, reputation and perception management activities through the strategic planning and management of her clients’ public presences.

Experience:

Reem started her career at local PR firm, where she was responsible for financial thought leadership projects, regulatory disclosures, and financial calendar management, working on campaigns for Kuwait China Investment Company (now Asiya Investments), an emerging Asia focused investment firm; Jazeera Airways, the first non- government owned airline in the Middle East; and GDF SUEZ (now ENGIE), partner in the consortium that was selected to construct, operate, and manage Shamal Az Zour Al-Oula, Kuwait’s first Independent Water & Power Project (IWPP), and the first private public partnership project in the country. In addition, she led the communications teams working for the National Assembly of Kuwait and local NGOs, including the Women Cultural and Social Society and INJAZ Kuwait. Reem then moved to Alghanim Industries,, where she worked in the Corporate Communications Department, managing external communication and strategic media exposures for the shareholders, while supporting the business units with their communication efforts, as well as handling crisis communication.

Education:

Reem holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration on Management and Marketing, and a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Kuwait University.

Kawther albader

A creative storyteller with a passion for visual communication, Kawther leads communication projects for clients through photography, videography and graphic design, with a focus on social media management and English content creation.

Experience:

While working both abroad and in Kuwait, Kawther has had multiple opportunities in the marketing, journalism & advertising sectors. At the start of her career in Chicago, Kawther worked for local branding and marketing agency, I Imagine Studio, handling projects for several clients, including Amazon and Lamin-Art, Inc. During her time in the U.S., Kawther also was part of a three-person team cranking out multiple issues of leading food & beverage business-to-business publication, Candy Industry Magazine, in which she was a feature article writer and reporter. Kawther continued to expand on her marketing career in Kuwait at Alghanim Industries, in which she managed the digital and social media presence of several retail brands, most notably Costa Coffee Kuwait. She also worked at the marketing department of the National Bank of Kuwait, where she was responsible for strategic marketing and planning of youth-related offers and the bank’s biggest event of the year, Mega Day.

Education:

Kawther holds a B.S. degree in Journalism & Legal Studies from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
